WordPress Lesson 3: Support Forum - Use it or Lose it

For the love of learning, use the WordPress Support Forum . I know, I know. What if you have a silly question and everyone on the planet suddenly realizes that you’re not the God(dess) of Smart? Trust me, the WP Support Forums are not exactly the hottest hangout in town. People go there to get answers to their technical problems, not to get a date.

Just be sure to scour the WordPress Codex first in case your question or crisis has already been addressed. And if you’re a real keener, you’ll scour Google too. You will be happily surprised at how much WP help actually resides beyond the boundaries of WordPress.org. But if you still can’t find an answer, then post your question at the Support Forum. You may not get a reply right away; you may not get one at all. But you gotta try.

And that is the price you ultimately pay for using a free content management system. Not a bad deal, really. Especially if you’re smart enough to figure these things out. Or to outsource to some other online joint to figure them out for you (wank! wank!).
